The map as the entry point
Interventions, plots, equipment: as soon as users ask “where?”, a map works better than a table. We did this to plan drone missions with the SDIS.
Limit what is displayed
Too many points make a map unreadable. Clustering, filters and toggleable layers keep the essentials visible.
Think about the field
Offline base maps, large buttons, readability in full sunlight: the map is often viewed standing up, outdoors. See our field apps & mapping and the article on working offline.
