Why it’s essential

A security flaw, a measurement bug or a new feature: sooner or later, embedded software has to change. Without remote updates, someone has to visit each device in the field.

The basic rules

An update must be signed, checked before installation and reversible if it fails. Rollout happens in waves: a few devices first, then the rest of the fleet. These rules belong to application security as much as to electronics.

Track the fleet

The monitoring console shows the version installed on each device and flags those that stop responding. It’s a building block of our connected devices & embedded offer, linked to the back-end.
